Welcome to
Calvary Baptist Church
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday at Calvary. It is our privilege each week to worship our Risen Savior through the corporate gathering as we lift our voices to God, bring our offerings to Him, and hear His Holy Word preached. We look forward to this humble gathering so that we might encourage and stimulate love and good works in each other (Heb. 10:24-25).
Our prayer is that you will go where God is guiding you. If that is CBC, we look forward to worshipping our Savior with you!

About The Pastor:
Jonathan Wallenbeck, our new pastor, has been a pillar of our community since 2018 when he joined as the Associate
Pastor of Youth/Family Ministry. Under his guidance, the youth group has blossomed from a small gathering to a vibrant ministry of around 20, meeting on Wednesday & Sunday nights. His dedication and commitment have equipped
outstanding leaders who are now leading the ministry into the future, as he steps into his new role as our pastor.
Pastor Wallenbeck brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. He served in the United States Air Force
for 20 years before heeding God’s call into Gospel Ministry. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University, a Master of Arts in Computer Resources and
Information Management from Webster University, and a Master of Theological Studies in Preaching and Pastoral Ministries from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. These qualifications reflect his dedication to serving
our congregation and his commitment to deepening his understanding of God’s Word.
Outside of his pastoral duties, Pastor Wallenbeck leads a fulfilling personal life. He is married to Sybil, and together, they have two grown children who have blessed them with six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pastor Wallenbeck’s love for people and
his desire to share God’s love with everyone he meets are evident in his interactions. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf, spending quality time with his grandchildren, and cherishing moments at home with his wife.
If you have any questions for Pastor Jonathan, please email him. They can be about his life, the church, your life, or God; no matter what, he will be happy to talk with you.
