Calvary Baptist Church Leadership
Calvary Baptist Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Jonathan Wallenbeck
Senior Pastor
Jonathan Wallenbeck, our new pastor, has been a pillar of our community since 2018, when he joined as the Associate Pastor of Youth/Family Ministry. Under his guidance, the youth group has blossomed from a small gathering to a vibrant ministry of around 20, meeting on Wednesday & Sunday nights. His dedication and commitment have equipped outstanding leaders who lead the ministry into the future as he steps into his new role as our pastor.
Pastor Wallenbeck brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years before heeding God’s call into Gospel Ministry. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University, a Master of Arts in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University, and a Master of Theological Studies in Preaching and Pastoral Ministries from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS). He is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Biblical Counseling at MBTS to help him engage the congregation and community in restoring their souls with their Creator. These qualifications reflect his dedication to serving our congregation and his commitment to deepening his understanding of God’s Word.
Outside of his pastoral duties, Pastor Wallenbeck leads a fulfilling personal life. He is married to Sybil, and together, they have two grown children who have blessed them with six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pastor Wallenbeck’s love for people and his desire to share God’s love with everyone he meets are evident in his interactions. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf, spending quality time with his grandchildren, and cherishing moments at home with his wife.
If you have any questions for Pastor Jonathan, please email him. They can be about his life, the church, your life, or God; no matter what, he will be happy to talk with you.
Srikanth Sriramula
Associate Pastor
Srikanth Sriramula (Sri) grew up in southern India. As a young child, he asked Jesus Christ to come into his life and followed Him in baptism. He continued growing in God's Word in his Baptist church in India with his younger sister. They both loved attending Sunday school and hearing about Jesus Christ. His love for music brought him to the United States in 2015.
His passion for music and ministry grew together. Throughout his studies, he faithfully served God through his musical gifts—singing in choirs, playing instruments, and leading worship bands. Finally, he was asked to come on staff at First United Methodist Church in Warrensburg, MO.
His service at the Methodist church included music ministry, college-age and children’s ministries, and the youth ministry. However, over the years of studying God's Word, he has gained a deeper understanding of who God is, what He means to him, and where his values and beliefs stand. Knowing this, he began seeking God's direction for his life as he could no longer serve in the Methodius tradition.
In May 2025, God answered Calvary's prayer for an associate pastor of music and youth by bringing Sri to our congregation. He joined CBC on the mission field as Associate Pastor of music and youth, leading congregational worship, Calvary choir, and Calvary CREW (youth). God is allowing Sri to continue his commitment to serving and growing in God through music and youth ministry.
After moving to the United States in 2015, he earned his Bachelor’s in Music Performance from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO, and his Master’s in Music Technology from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO.
