As Christ's Church

Paul’s second letter to the church at Thessalonica was written to encourage, exhort, and rebuke the church into proper thinking about their position and purpose in the Kingdom of God. The church was being swayed by false teaching that the Day of the Lord had come and that they and those who had passed on had missed it. Paul writes to encourage them to remain Firm in Christ and to remind them to focus on Christ as their Creator and Savior. He then exhorts them concerning the Day of the Lord, not to be discouraged. He reminds them that Christ has not returned, and he rebukes those who have become lazy and idle in their work, personally and spiritually, for the Kingdom of God.

This series is designed to encourage you to be faithful in your service to Christ until He returns. It encourages you to watch for His return, share His Word faithfully with others, and never stop working until Christ comes or calls you home.
